Naomi and myself were tasked with working on the front end of a GitHub style dashboard that displays all the metrics and statistics that a software engineering manager needs access to. The software engineers came up with back end solutions for the version control problem that Kaseya was facing and Naomi and myself made it happen visually.
Additionally to having access to group statistics, the software engineering managers also have the ability to click on individual developer profiles and seeing a more detailed set of metrics and statistics to be able to quantify their individual impact.
Along the process, Naomi and I put what we learned into practice in regards to creating a persona to design for, which in this case is Jordan Smith, a How Might We and above all, we brought our presentation experience and represented our team very well in front of all our classmates, instructors and industry partners.
At the end, we came out on top and claimed our victory! This is our team, the CommitChamps, which consisted of 5 software engineers: Pablo Padillo-Anthemides, Dacotah J, Dayana Romero Villavicencio, Nicolas Chaves and Olgica Zlatkovska, as well as 2 UX Designers: Naomi Elizabeth Lioy and myself.
