The first step was to connect Nelson's Shopify account to Printful, a print on demand company and website where I searched for and eventually found all the products that he was interested in offering his audience by comparing quality and pricing.
Once I found all the products that we were looking for, I designed each product by uploading, resizing and placing each design that pertained to the respective product. I then selected the mockups that we wanted to display on the products page.
When adding the products to the Shopify store, I made sure to calculate the cost of each product, printing and shipping and set the prices for each product to ensure that Nelson profits from each product, guaranteeing his desired return on investment.
Once I designed and set the price for each product, I added all of them to the Shopify store, named them, categorized them and turned them into a collection.
Now that all the products were added to the Shopify store, it was time to begin the process of implementing the collection into Nelson's existing website. The first step was to create a Buy Button, which enables merchants to generate an embeddable product card and checkout button that can be added to landing pages or blog posts.
The second step was to choose the type of Buy Button that I wanted to create. The two options were: Product Buy Button and Collection Buy Button. Nelson was initially offering 14 products. Therefore, I selected the Merch & Accessories collection that I created, which included every existing product offered by Nelson and created a Collection Buy Button.
